The 2015 edition of the Brazilian biennial Jacques Danon Meeting (XIX EJDEM) on Mössbauer spectroscopy was held in the city of Diamantina (state of Minas Gerais, Southern Brazil) from December 14 to 16, 2015. About forty-five participants, including researchers and graduate and undergraduate students from all around Brazil, but also from Peru, discussed their studies involving Mössbauer spectroscopy in a friendly atmosphere of an open interchange of ideas involving the reporting of many general aspects of scientific achievements. Policies related to the Mössbauer laboratories and current perspectives for future collaborative work were also discussed. This meeting was organized by Mössbauer researchers from the Federal University of the Jequitinhonha and Mucuri Valleys (UFVJM) in Diamantina. The Organizing Committee was chaired by Dr. Manoel J. M. Pires (UFVJM). More information is available at the web address http://jacquesdanon.wix.com/.
